hi jaymie, congrats on placing 12th! great job! :)

however, i agree with roadrat, i know you know your personal physical limits and all, pero it won't hurt too to be more careful about running when you're not feeling well. marami naman races pa so, you know, at the risk of sounding like your mother, rest dear! oh well, sabagay, if you hadn't run today, you wouldn't have seen robin, hehe. pogi ba talaga siya sa personal? (not that i'm interested or anything, curious lang).

wish i could say it's just super but to date, still non-existent, hehe. i told myself i'd get one next month (it's the fasting season now so i can't run in the next few weeks). anyhoo.=) yeah, wish we could have met as well. i recognized you when i saw you running by on your 2nd & 3rd half-laps (or whatever the term is, hehe). too bad i didn't have a cam with me that day. then maybe i could have taken shots of the scenery like you did for remembrance. or maybe even snuck a shot of robin's profile while running or something, hehe. anyway, hope to "run" into you again next time!

Ben, the feeling is mutual. You make it look effortless...plus your fast. You'll just swiftly pass me by and disappear into the crowd ahead! Next time I see you is when you greet me at the finish line!!!

Hey hitme, congrats to you too! All those VR's must be doing you good :)

Roadrat, I know---I've learned my lesson well. I didn't enjoy running and coughing at the same time so I promise to never do it again. At least for this month..haha kidding.

Fafarrahzzi, your nickname calls for you to have taken a photo of Robin! Did you? haha. Congrats to you too! I wish we had met :) How do you like your Nike+ so far?

heya jaymie, saw you at the race yesterday. didn't think you looked like you were running out of puff at all. and 12th place? that's nothing short of wow, especially in the face of that big ouch of yours.

i had a great time at the run yesterday, especially when i found out i wasn't late after all when i came in at around 6am (thanks to robin padilla's "grand entrance"), hehe. i was with friends (the muay thai team) so i began the race running alongside his entourage, not that that was my intention, hehe. overall, the race was fun. plus it was refreshing to see a face that i recognize from the blogosphere. =)

hi br, did you say you ran with a cough and a sore throat? please please please, be kind to your "engine" and don't ever do that again. have seen quite a few stubborn cyclists and runners, who despite being ill insist to train or race. they're never quite the same afterwards. they run slower or breathe more just from a slight effort. a gifted runner who insisted on training and racing with an injury runs with a limp now and no longer as fast as he used to.

you're 12th and that's what's important! congratulations jaymie!

this was a perfect race, meaning they did make it 10k this time...i hit the tape at 53'37 which means this is my fastest time this year over the distance...yeah, the true distance...

congratulations also to everyone!
