Pinoy on Runner’s World

Last Dec 2007, Patrick Concepcion, one of the most dedicated and generous runners I know, visited Boracay and enjoyed a beautiful run in its shores. A friend took his photo, which Patrick then sent to Runner’s World U.S.A and Australia. To his pleasant surprise, the Editor of Runner’s World Australia featured his photo and a brief article on Boracay under the “Rave Run” section of its Feb 2008 edition. Way to go, Patrick!

By the way, don’t miss Patrick’s CONDURA RUN on March 2, 2008.  The race will be organized by Mr. Rudy Biscocho.

1. That’s a nice photo. I was there once, did just that in the afternoons. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll check out the magazine in one of the local bookstores over here.

9. Thank you but will you guys stop it. your making my blush. Hey we are all apart of a Running Family & we all draw strenght from each other to make the extra km. When im tired in my runs and i see you there in AVA i draw strenght from you guys to continue i thank you all.

10. Wow! I could have done that, too! he..he..he..Boracay’s Beachfront is a nice place to run. For sure, I’ll be joining the Condura Run. How about a Boracay Beachfront Run this summer? Any comments, miss jaymie?

    Baldrunner, I won’t be surprised if I see your photo in the next issue of RW! Boracay this summer? That’s what I wished for but the kids want to visit HK Disneyland during the break. I’m not complaining as long as I can run.
