My son will also be turning 6 next week and already did couple of races including a 5k during the PMPR while I did the 42K. I'm planning to join him in 10k runs next year and maybe a half marathon before reaching the age of 10. He's hyperactive and our sports really fit in his system. Though he only runs during Saturdays and Sundays, he seems to have a very strong cardio. BTW, i saw Annie, your training partner during the race. She's really strong. I crossed the finish line about 2 minutes ahead of her, and this I think this is my worst run in my 9 full marathons. Vengeance come August 3. Happy birthday to your son.
