Mizuno Apologizes

Okay, this is the last time I’m posting about the Mizuno Infinity race.  I have other races to think about :)

Just in case you didn’t see this, it was posted by Miraclecello in my comments section (thanks Miraclecello!) and was later emailed to me by Mizuno.   According to KC Joaquin, they intend to organize another race soon to make up for the last race.

It’s time to forgive, forget and run.  This next race will definitely be overflowing with water!

To All the Participants of the Mizuno Infinity Run,

Together with the race organizers and Rush (our beverage sponsor), please accept our sincerest apologies for the inadequate supply of drinking water during the event. There is no excuse for this serious oversight.

Thank you very much for all the feedback. I will personally make sure that the proper actions will be taken to avoid any future mishaps.

I’m sure the runners have accepted your apologies Mizuno…i guess its just timely that these great blogs are here now to air runners’ comments…about the water thing, it also happened at the Milo 42km elims last year where the water ran out just about after the halfway mark…at least yours was just up to 15k…at that milo run, you’d hear runners say “papatayin nyo mga runners nyo!”… looking forward to your next run!

  2. mizuno personally apologized to me on my multiply site. apology accepted! come on, our photos are evidence enough that we had lots of fun. thirst can be quenched, but the smiles on every parched lips — priceless.

  3. nyahahaha buti nung last day ng registration ubos na ung 5K at di ko kinagat ung 15K sabi ng isang saleslady sa trinoma outlet.. nyhahaha kung nagkataon first time na mag run ng 15k w/o water… ayus….Mizunog!

  4. Thanks Mizuno for the second time around. I was too, victim of nothing to drink after docking to the finishing line…Our group will join again.
