On this day, over three decades ago, I was born.
And, on the same day last year, The Bull Runner too. (This was my first post ever. My how time flies!)
We’re having a double birthday celebration today by running 100km from my place to Tagaytay followed by an eat-till-you-wobble party serving Omakase’s sushi, S&R pizza, Trio’s pasta, UCC desserts with bottomless frapuccinos. Care to join?
Oh crap, Coach ordered for complete rest today. And, I never ran past 20km. And, I’m on a diet.
Party is postponed to next year.
* Happy Birthday again to my best running buddy, Annie, who celebrated her birthday yesterday! We could’ve done a double birthday celebration— 200km with double the food!

Happy Birthday Bull Runner!!! More blessings, more good and healthy runs, more stories/tips to come. i ran the 10k but saw you past me on the last km of the 5k route just like the in Global run ” ang bilis”. And saw you again going out of the parking lot.. I was the one driving the car in front of you. Hope to meet you in the coming races…..

I saw you run for the first time when we ran our first “fun run” at the Adidas run for love. Ang daming run ng sentence na yun, perfect for this running blog. hehehe Of course, you ended up beating both me and Charlie. We found your blog and knew you were no push over and would be tough to beat. Bull Runner ba naman ang tawag sa yo.
Congrats on the milestone and on getting older! Happy Birthday Jaymie!!! Naku, 30 something ka pa rin ano… Age is just a number. Ang importante ay di lang tumanda kundi iyong may pinagkatandaan.

so disappointed with my time (new low) i left immediately after crossing finish line.

2 years ago i decided on a whim to do my first 21km run on my bday. it was *totally* tough (but exhilarating!), im sure u know what its like… i wonder what running-related thing u plan on doing on ur birthday?

Happy birthday Jaymie! Im 6000 miles away but i keep updated by dropping by your blog. I am joining a spring half marathon race this sunday and boy am I out of shape because of inconsistent training in the past two weeks. I was thinking of backing out but when I learned you sprung back to running life, I got inspired and started hitting the road again. Truly an inspiration…and I notice you have more frequent entries lately

The only running related thing I did on my birthday was to perform the drills prescribed by my PT. The rest of the day was pure rest and relaxation..and a little bit of work
