Mizuno Infinity Run – Take 2

So it’s confirmed: To make up for the mishap at the Mizuno Infinity Run last March 30, Mizuno will hold another Mizuno race on June 29, Sunday, at the same venue, Bonifacio Global City to be organized by no less than our favorite race organizer, Coach Rio.

All participants in the previous Mizuno Infinity Run will be treated to a discount in registration fee. The organizer will accept new registrants but I believe priority will be given to those who joined before.

I’m looking forward to this race for the following reasons:

We will be definitely swimming in pools of water and sports drinks. They haven’t confirmed this, but after what happened last time, Mizuno will definitely make this top priority.
Singlets are different for men and women (thanks in part to Rush). The women’s singlets are racer back…niiice! (I just hope it’s not as see-through as the previous singlet!)
Rewards MIGHT (read: not confirmed yet) be given to those who beat their time in the previous race. How exciting is that, eh?
I can probably join the 10 or 15k by this time! Crossing my fingers!

wow, this is great news indeed!!! i’m definitely doing this. how about prizes for those who don’t get to beat their previous time, but can last the run without water again, hahaha

If I have known earlier that there will be a Mizuno Infinity Run 2 and you had to beat your previous time, I should have ran slower during the first race…hehehe.

sayang, thought it would be free for those who ran before… At least that is what the Mizuno rep said when sent him email before. Still good though that they are doing this again Infinity Run take two!

Hi! Will the registration again be in all Mizuno stores? when? BTW, I’m an avid reader of your blog. I do run but I seldom join races like this one. My last run was the Champion Run last 2007 (10k). I’m planning to join this Mizuno run and I hope I could make it this time. Thanks.

There are 3 road races on June 18: PCRC’s takbo para sa kalusugan (5K, 10K), Run with Pringles (3 mi) and Market! Market!’s 5 mile run. Will you be joining any of these runs?

We paid and we ran but were not on their list of participants since they ran out of numbers the first time around. I hope we still get a discount. I still have the shirt that I got from the first race.

Since it is take2, tshirt should be different from that of 1, so that we will be having 2 different tshirts for this year…may i suggest also that instead of “mizuno infinity run,” it should be “mizuno bottomless run” hehehe i did participate in the 15 kms run last march 30,my time is not that good…1 hour and 25 mins. due to almost severe dehydration (lack of water!). Hoping they (mizuno) make up for shortcomings…

Jhun, yup great news!

JunC, in the last race they gave shoes to the top 3 runners. So just make sure you come in 3rd and you’ll probably get new mizunos. Kaya ba?

Julius Blanco, no news yet regarding registration. Maybe through the stores or maybe through Coach Rio who is aiming for registration via SMS!

Mark, I dont think they’re giving Mizuno shirts. Singlets will be manufactured for the race. Haha you noticed the monster icons? Thought they’d look cool but now they look kinda funny.

This is one bird too early that didn’t catch any worm but a divot of confused look from a sales clerk.

Well, I did manage to treat myself to a cool Nike dri-fit sock to make the trip worth while.

we got no other choice than to consider that it was mizuno’s first running event that is why unexpected and dismaying experiences happened. were looking forward to a better race next time guys. thanks
