Where in the world—or, at least, in the Philippines—is this?
Word is, this scenic course may just be the venue for The North Face 100, the upcoming trail run that many of us are looking forward to. According to Neville Manaois of Pinoy Ultra Runners, the race organizers should finalize details within this week or the next.
In the meantime, hang on to your laces!

during last night’s Ultra Running 101 seminar in ROX , Sir Neville – Pinoy Ultra Runner Team Leader – revealed the race location to be in Batangas. The mountain ranges bordering the towns of Nasugbu, Magallanes, Tuy and Lian is the venue of TNF. One loop is 50Km. Two loops for those running the 100K.

According to the presentation made the the Ultramarathon 101 in ROX last thursday, it will be in batangas.
Nice, I hope it’s on mountain trails and not flat dirt roads. Where is this?

The location will be between Tagaytay and Nasugbu. We will make available the specific location and a map by early next week. I’m just waiting clearance from the organizers and sponsors.
We will be organizing a group run there to familiarize people of the trail. Registration will be up several days from now. It will be rolling terrain with a couple of river crossings for the 100km. Two loops of 50km. It will be a fun and rewarding experience.
Thanks Bull Runner for posting this, start training guys. There will be a 10km, 21km, 50km, and 100km trail run events. For the 100km people can join individually or as a team. Bull runner you have to join!!!
Will organize another lecture on preparing for the The North face trail run. Ill give more details next week. Start running guys see you in the road. Use the run events ahead as training for this big event.
