And the 4th TBR Race Winner Is…

Some of you were hilarious…

MY IDEAL RUN WOULD BE IN A DEEP SEA DIVING SUITE ON THE BOTTOM OF PASIG RIVER WITH MY BOSS.

While some were sentimental…

My ideal run would be in memory of my lola on a rainy day with her song in my head.

While others were plain sipsip…(hahaha!)

My ideal run would be in Central Park reservoir on a beautiful Sunday morning with the beautiful bullrunner (naks!) 

- Cruel

After much thought, I decided to give the 4 additional entries to Backpacker who’s comment tugged at my heart strings. Aaaw.

And so, from the top 20 plus 4 entries from Backpacker, my son chose the 4th winner of the Nike+ SportsBand.  And the winner is someone who’ll have all the time to run after his boss reads his comment…

  3. Hi TBR! When i saw the 4th winner, I couldn’t help but be both amused yet a little disappointed. You see my hubby,Marvs, is a big fan of the TBR site & an avid runner, and he has been the one who introduced our friends & whomever acquaintance interested in running to the TBR site. By some twist of fate, most of the winners of the Race are within our circle of friends! Lisa & Winna are my friends from my previous office, and now Migs as we call Carlo is 1 of Marvs’ best friends. Knowing how he’s been bent on winning 1 of the races (like how he was racking his brain for an answer while logged online to tbr via celfone last friday, in the middle of our movie date watching Zohan), I am also hoping he’d get a good break. He sure deserves it as how much of a running enthusiast he is but cant get his own gear as he prioritizes our baby’s needs right now. Im asking by a long shot, but maybe u could grant him at least additional raffle entries for the last race, to up his chances even more for winning, and having this race come full circle for him. He’s such a big fan of TBR that he half-wishes ill follow in ur footsteps (runner-mom),hehe. Im a Long way from that and ill let my friend Lisa take that role, haha. Thanks for indulging in this long read, and more power to TBR!

    Rhea, it sounds like Marvs really deserves the last sportsband (yes, I did see how much of a doting daddy he is in MMM) and I sincerely hope he wins it, but so sorry I can’t give him additional race entries unless he wins the fave TBR portion. I have to be fair to all the other participants. If he doesn’t win it, I can guarantee you the 20% discount coupon.

  6. I’d like to thank TBR for the Nike+ Sportsband! My thanks to Marvs also for introducing me to this opportunity. He’s the one who got me started running all these years. Now, seriously, how do I claim that sportsband? :P
