J-Lo at Nautica Malibu Triathlon

I couldn’t believe it either. But, yes, it’s true; Jennifer Lopez isn’t just a singer and dancer, but she’s also a triathlete! J-Lo, along with other celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Felicity Huffman joined the celebrity competition of the Nautica Malibu Triathlon last Sept. 14.

J-Lo, who gave birth to her twins only 6 mos. ago, finished the sprint triathlon—1/2 mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run—with a time of 2:23:38. On Chelsea Lately (new show on ETC), I laughed out loud when the host said that J-Lo crossed the finish line with her butt following a few seconds behind her!

Well, I’m not a big fan of J-Lo, but she deserves a big congratulations for finishing—same goes to her butt!

    races here (mine is a lot like matthew’s, even
    the color).

    what is it with those “wide-angle” goggles?

  3. Funny how some of them look so normal sweating it out like the rest of us. No one can hide behind makeup here.

    Yeah backpacker those googles give you a better view, problem is that they tend to leak after a while. I’ve owned a couple. The traditional ones are better IMHO.

  6. heelstriker si JLo! Haha wala lang napansin ko lang. :D

    In my photos with Ben, I heel strike too. Super OC me brought this up with Coach Jo Ar and he had an explanation for this. I’m still a mid foot striker daw but in the photos it seems as if heel striker. Dunno about J-Lo though :)

  7. jaymie, my friend said one gets wider-angle view w it.
    rick who has used them says the same thing, pero
    better pa din daw katulad ng matthew’s goggles.
