1st Mayon Trail Run

Oh, I know a lot of runners out there who would want to join this one…

The North Face continues its campaign to bring runners to the trail as it supports the 1st ever Mayon Trail Run on October 19, 2008 at Legaspi, Albay. 18k of trail, lava gullies and unprecedented views of Mayon Volcano await athletes and outdoor enthusiasts who are willing to test their endurance and indulge their passion to Never Stop Exploring.

There will also be a 5k fun run and walk.

  4. I’m hesitant though ‘coz I don’t know what training is right for this. All I know is that I run for an hour a week. Do you know any groups I can train with? ;)

    Oh, don’t join the 18k then. Go for the 5k. You can join Happy Feet if you wish. Just search for it in my blog.

    Maybe next time organizers can promote earlier so more runners can block their scheds :)

  8. Looks exciting but on a very short notice and too far to run an 18k trail run.

    I remember someone said it would be an ultra marathon. Oh well. It would have been grand.

    Yes Lignon hill will be part of the trail.

    TNF branches are located at 1F Shangri La Mall, Pasig, 2F Glorietta 4 Makati, Entertinment Mall of SM MOA and the newly opened TNF concept store at SM Megamall, 1F Bldg.A.
