Adidas King of the Road Results

Official results are out for Adidas KOTR 10k and 21k at RunningDATcom’s blog. Click here.  UPDATE: 5k results available there as well.

My official time for 10k was 52.52 minutes with an average pace of 5:18 min/km.  Pretty much the same as the numbers on my Garmin.

First placer in the distaff category was Mercedita Fetalbero with a time of 36.35 with a pace of 3:40…phew! I was the 18th woman to cross the finish line.

  4. Galing mo talaga Bull Runner. Pati results meron ka, hindi na kailangang tumawag sa organizers. Your site is a very reliable online resource for running enthusiasts. :)

  6. Hi Jaymie,

Are you using a Forerunner 305? I’m currently using a Nike Triax and I’m planning to buy a decent running watch soon. I’m considering buying either a Forerunner 305 or a Polar RS800. Any thoughts on which one to buy?

  7. dear bullrunner,
once again we want to congratulate you in winning the blog awards, & for a nice run during the KOTR.
anayways, we were the guys who gave you the beautiful race belt!
in line with this, we have learned that most runners would appreciate to have this beautiful race belt, besides , a product of such is not yet available locally thats why we decided to produce this wonderful product.
We would like to thank you ahead, so you can also lend your helping hand in promoting the race belt. we will also be coming up with another product “THE RACE LACE” both products will be available during races (tri and fun run.)
in behalf of team pfi & “RACE” thank so much .
    cheers!

  8. Hi Jaymie,
Thanks for posting the results. Wont mind being in the last 70 or so to finish -dismal! but I’ve reached my goal of running-er-walking to finish my 1st 21K intact and all smiles. Nice bumping into you and Rio. Congratulations on your sub 55 run.

  9. Hi TBR,
Thanks for the results, and congrats on you’re finished time. Me? I had a disappointing finished of 2:16:35 for 21K category last Sat. Regarding this can I asked for a suggestion on what type of watch to buy to monitor my pace? Garmin using GPS? Suunto or Polar using foot pod? k? Thanks and regards…

  10. Congratulations on that great run, Jaymie. Pero sobrang lungkot ko kasi iba ang entrance ng 10k runners… I was really really hoping to see you at the KOTR. Had to leave early because of family obligations.

I have a surprise for you, Jaymie. When you have time, pls. visit my latest post “My First KOTR: Impossible is Nothing”.

Thanks, Jaymie–for everything that you’ve done for me (naiiyak na naman ako)

Pag hindi pa tayo nagkita sa OctobeRun Festival, sasadyain na kita kung saan ka man naroroon! Promise!

  14. Newbie here. Just my second race.

Thanks for publishing the results of the 5k. My official time was 26:00 (5:12 ave pace), with a 25:58 recorded on my Timex. I was so ecstatic to have shaved more than 6 mins from my 33:33 5k last May. Something struck me when I checked my run log though: I’ve never run faster than an average pace of 6:05/km during my 6k runs, and my fastest terminal 1k was a 5:30.

Could the race route for the AKOTR been much shorter than a 5k? or maybe I need to measure my training route again… =)

(I just used my car’s odometer to measure my training route. I hope someone with a Garmin was able to measure the 5k route.)

  16. Its kinda late to have a comment but I guess for some runners it was awful. The water at the finish line I think was not that good for runners with a weak stomach. Like me, I ended up with some spasms and stomach aches.

Anyway this was my first time to run and I’m so proud of my results.
