2009 Marathon Schedule Updates

If you’re confused with the changes in full marathon schedules, you are not alone.  Here is the updated marathon schedules for 2009:

  • Philippine Marathon: moved from Feb 22 to March 8
  • Quezon City Marathon: moved from Feb to October 18
  • Clark Marathon: initially planned for Feb, but now set for December 5 (tentative)

Will Milo Marathon be in August?  Will there still be a Subic Marathon?  Is there any other marathon that you know of that’s not listed above?

For now, that’s the list of marathons for next year.  Take your pick and start training…uhm, maybe after Noche Buena.

    moved na,tentative pa rin (isa ka pa)…subic is somewhere in october(pinoyrunner.com).wala pa announcement ang milo so far.

  2. Those schedules are a lot better since they are spaced apart. Just imagine if all of them were scheduled on February. The 2nd Subic Marathon will be on October 24-25. The 42K/21K/15K will start at midnight of the 24th.

    We at olymplus are planning to have a half and full marathon included in our 2nd quarter Paa-Bilisan road race series. Possibly on May 10 (should venue allow) the marathon route will go thru C5, McKinley Hill, Bayani Road for the 1st half and Makati CBD for the last half. tagged as Paa-Tibayan 42K, start and finish will be at the Bonifacio Global City

    We will make the final announcements very early next year.

  6. Besides you, there are a few others in the Nike Training group whose goal is just to finish a marathon early next year. Let’s talk it over with others sometime. Maybe we can run as a group…. We’ll just have to figure out which race to do it on though…

  9. Please I just want to know if the Pasig Marathon will still be held on 8th March – we heard it could be moved to 22nd March.
    We are proposing to travel from England so that my husband can run – but without firm dates we cannot book our flights.
    Any information will be helpfull
