Run Radio Airs July 24

No more guessing…this is what the runner above is all about…

WHAT: Run Radio
WHEN: every Friday starting July 24, 9:00 pm to 10:00pm
WHERE: NU 107.5

On July 24, tune in to NU 107.5 to hear the first airing of RUN RADIO, a new radio show made especially for runners. Listen to power songs you can use on your MP3 playlists, get the latest info on races and running events, and learn from experts in the running field who will guest on the show. Cool eh?

Now, the DJ’s…Run Radio will be hosted by myself and Jay Nacino (Prometheus Cometh)—Jay and Jaymie! We run together and chat about running to no end, so I expect that we’ll make a great team talking about our beloved running while all of you listen in.

Next Thursday, Jay and I will be guests on NU to talk about Run Radio. Hope you can tune in.

The brains behind Run Radio is no other than Marga Deona (The Changeling Child).

Good luck Jaymie and Jay! We’ll record the show if we can’t tune in. If you’re doing it live, then it would be GREAT to take questions from callers (like an advice-giving show for callers .. “Joe D Mango” for runners??!).

- Hi Khun! We are all so excited about it as you are!
  
  You don’t have to worry about missing an episode ’cause we’ll have episode podcasts that we’ll upload a few days after our live broadcast. We’ll launch the website next week — it’s still under construction.
  
  Yes, we’ll have a phone-in and text hotline for you guys! We’ll keep you posted right before show starts airing.
  
  And we also have a special segment which we hope will keep the running fever burning — one person at a time. It’s called the 5K Challenge — where a non-runner will take the plunge and train for his/her first-ever 5k. Our challenger is one helluva boy genius who graduated at the top of his batch, and seeks to combat the unhealthy lifestyle of a grad student.

  - Wow this all sounds super exciting! And THANKS for the podcasts, my friday nights are always pretty busy so i won’t be able to catch it live. I had to post a question on my FB account asking for tips on how i could “record” something from the radio since i no longer have any cassette players… how archaic!
