Milo races are my favorite too, my last run was July 5,2009 42k Full Marathon with my Fellow Cebuano Runners in the CERC (Cebu Executive Runners Club with John Pages. Milo has been the longest running and most organized marathon in the phils. in the 80's there was also the Magnolia Marathon, it can also compete with the Milo during the 80's running boom. . . . saka puro Roxas Blvd lang route. there was also the MIM, the manila international marathon, every january, where i saw the 1976 & 1980 olympic champion , German, Waldemar Cierpinski, that floated and glided the Roxas Blvd. . . i think he did a 2:20 run. . . the fastest sa pinas? only the motorcycle escort can keep up with his pace?
