3 More Days to Timex

Are you joining Timex this Sunday? I registered for 21k (plus I have to run 11k more to complete my longest run before Singapore) and hubby signed up for his first 21k race, too. Piolo was supposed to join us, but he refused to play the third wheel, so I asked the hubby if he could just stay home instead. Kidding!

Lots of things to look forward to for Timex. It’s pretty obvious that the organizers all pulling out all the stops for this one.  Here are some things to get excited about:

1. 5-time UAAP Cheerdance Competition Champion Salinggawi Dance Troupe perform at 730AM (well, if this is your thing!)
2. Special prizes will be awarded to the following:

  • Winner of “Guess Piolo’s Bib Number” Contest.
  • Winner of “Guess Piolo’s Finish Time Contest.
  • The youngest Timex Run participant.
  • The oldest Timex Run participant.
  • The club/team/org with the most number of Timex Run participants.

3. Raffle of Timex watches and products from other sponsors.
4. Manny Pacquiao vs Cotto fight airing after the Timex race.
5. Book & buy your P500 meal ticket for Paul Calvin’s Deli’s eat-all-you-can brunch buffet at Nike Park BHS and Paul Calvin’s Deli, Rizal Drive.

  2. Winner of “Guess Piolo’s Bib Number” Contest.
Winner of “Guess Piolo’s Finish Time Contest.

For these 2 on-line contest, does Timex set limitations to those joining? Of course those close to the organizer knows what BIB number will be assigned to Piolo and since Piolo is holding his training, more or less they know how Piolo will finish his 10k….easily they can bring home the prizes…Juz a thought…

  4. Hi! It was nice seeing you kanina :-) You’re really strong, you managed to run 11K more. Ako, I pushed myself too much this time. I’ve been suffering from a nasty cold and insomia since last week, I practically had less than 2 hours of sleep last night, kaya 10K pa lang, i was asking myself na if i could still go on. I did and told myself i wll finish it the most comfortabl pace i could. Thank God i did! pero i wont do that again. I think, i owe it to my body to rest when it wants to. I almost collapsed 30 minutes after the race, I’m just so glad I did not. Anyway, it was a good race and it was nice to finally meet the bull runner in person :-) Goodluck on your Singapore marathon. I’m sure you’ll finish it strong and fast, you seem to have been so disciplined in training. Inspiring! :-)
