Do You Dream of Marathons?

QCIM
– Last kilometer of my first marathon at QC International Marathon. The inspiration behind this event -

So, you’ve ran 5ks, then 10ks, and maybe a 21k…and now you want more.  You want what every serious runner dreams of: THE MARATHON. All 42.195km of it.

You want to join the elite club only 1/10th of 1% of the world ever does.

You want to test your limits.

You want to do something big in your life.

BUT…

You’re a beginner.  You don’t know what to expect, how to train, or who to consult.  Heck, you don’t even know which marathon to join!

Surprise surprise. We’ve dreamed up something for you: a unique and special marathon that will guide you every step of the way during training, one that will provide support and friendship like you’ve never experienced in a race before, one that will make the 42k journey as fun-filled, safe, and memorable as possible.

Soon: a marathon for beginners created by runners who remember the best of their first marathons and only want YOU to experience the same.

SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2010.

    • Ate Virg! Priority will be given to first timers. Experienced marathoners will be on wait list or have the option to volunteer as support for first timers –parang way of giving back :) I hope you’ll be there whether as a runner or as support. It’s going to be really fun! Take the family along.

  22. Hi Jaymie! I’ve always wanted to do a full mary since day one. I’ve joined almost every run last year just to build mileage for this dream (you should see my closet, overflowing with singlets..) Now I hope you would help me realize this this dream by signing me up for this one. I’m all laced-up and ready to run.

  23. I was dreaming to run my first full when I reach 55 but because of this, I’m tempted to do it sooner! One BIG FAVOR/REQUEST though: Coach Rio’s 2nd leg of RunRio Trilogy is set May 30, only a week after your marathon. Baka naman pwede mong pakiusapan si Coach Rio na ireset ang date? say, 3-4 weeks later? Thanks, jaymie!
