Coming Soon: RunTV

Finally! Our producer gave me the go-signal to reveal the big secret project I told you about last week…

Introducing…RunTV!

- First showing of RunTV’s OBB (opening billboard) courtesy of Streetpark Productions -

RunTV is a lifestyle running sports show that will launch by this summer. I was fortunate enough to be invited by John Aguilar (its producer) to be involved in this exciting new show made especially for runners.

We had a blast shooting the OBB (opening billboard) you just saw above. We shot this in Antipolo, complete with a crane that shot us from the top and a crew that made my first experience with TV production fun and not the least bit intimidating.

Here’s a brief description of my co-hosts:

Tricia Chiongbian is a former Studio 23 VJ and former host of the defunct sports show Gameplan. Tricia is currently on leave from her news anchor job for Studio 23′s News Central as she recently gave birth to a baby boy. She is a competitive triathlete and adventure racer and holds the distinction of becoming the first Filipino to place in a podium finish in a full distance Ironman triathlon.

John Aguilar is the executive producer and director of RunTV and is president of television production company StreetPark Productions, Inc., producer of Philippine Realty TV on ANC. John is a former high school and collegiate record holder in the 100 meter dash, pole vault, and decathlon, and has coached the sprints teams of Ateneo. John has joined numerous adventure races and made-for-tv races and is now getting his second wind in the running scene with the production of RunTV.

You’ll definitely read more about the show here on this blog.  As of now, much of it is still shrouded in secrecy (hah!), but I promise to reveal more details on this blog when John allows me!

RunTV is Produced by StreetPark Productions, Inc. Interested groups may get in touch with Monica Hipolito at Tel. 9105778/99, 5058527, M:0920-9044750 /0917-8140875 or email streetpark.mktg@gmail.com

I’m so proud of you. 3 years ago we can only read your blog, then we heard you over the radio, saw you in newspapers and mags, and read your very own mag. Then now, we could watch you on TV! Awesome! Ang layo layo layo layo na ng narating mo, Jaymie (but I still miss your pink rubber shoes when I open your blog heh heh . . . )!
