  9. Congrats Jaymie! I was accepted last year, but decided to defer to this year. I don’t think I’m ready yet to do it this year either. Mag Dream Marathon muna ako this year :) So I’ll defer to next year again na siguro, and learn from tips you can give us after your NY experience. Good luck!

  11. Congratulations on getting into the NYC Marathon! I did it in 2008 and it was my worst running experience ever! But hey it was NYCM and I’m glad I already have that under my belt. Would love to do it again, though, just to see if I’ll have a better experience.

  22. Hi Jaymie. First, congratulations! Second, apart from myself, there are 7 other people (and growing) I know personally who have been selected via lottery. Sounds like there will be a large Filipino group running this year! The TBR Dream Marathon will be my first 42Km so ING NY will be a great year-ender!

  30. Jaymie, your post made me check my account application. I didn’t get any special e-mail announcement but it says “accepted”. Does that mean I’m actually in? (I’m seriously holding back the grin on my face until I’m sure what it means)
