TBR DM 2012 Registration Details

To our TBR DM Reserved Runners: Congratulations for successfully grabbing a slot for The Bull Runner Dream Marathon 2012. Now, it’s time to register! For this race, we’ve partnered with Runner’s Runner to manage our registration.

REGISTRATION FOR TBR DREAM MARATHON at NUVALI 2012

DATE: Thursday, October 6 to Monday, October 10, 2011
TIME: 12 noon to 10 PM
VENUE: Runner’s Runner Booth at 2/F R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street
REGISTRATION FEE: P2,500

HOW TO REGISTER: THREE WAYS

[OPTION 1: DEPOSIT + DELIVER]

1. Confirm slot in TBRDM 2012 Reserved Runners List. Link above.
2. Compute fee: Race fee: P2,500. Add : Shipping and handling fee – P119 (NCR), P158 (Provincial)
3. Deposit total fee to:

BDO Savings Accnt: 1230066444
Account Name: Runners’ Runner Events Organizer

For verification, please write the following info on your deposit slip:
a.) Runner’s name(s) as submitted in TBRDM Reservation Form
b.) Event: TBRDM 2012
c.) your contact number
e.) your complete shipping address
f.) TBRDM Official Shirt Size

4. Photograph the deposit slip and send to Payments@RunnersRunner.com with subject line “Payment for (YourName) – TBRDM 2012”
5. Deadline for receiving proof of payment (deposit slip): October 10, 2011, 10PM

[OPTION 2: DEPOSIT + PICK UP]

1. Confirm slot in TBRDM 2012 Reserved Runners List. Link above.
2. Deposit P2,500:

[OPTION 3: ONSITE PAYMENT + PICK UP]

1. Confirm slot in TBRDM 2012 Reserved Runners List. Link above.
2. Pay registration fee of P2,500 at Runner’s Runner at ROX.
3. Claim registration kit.
* Authorized representatives may claim your Registration Kit upon presentation of the Runner’s Valid ID and Letter of Authorization.

WHAT DO I GET IN MY REGISTRATION KIT? (inspired by Chevrolet-New Balance Power Run image)

You get a TBR DM Folder containing your TBR DM Welcome Note, 22-week Training Program by Coach Jim Lafferty, and information for training and race day. You also get a TBR Dream Card for discounts with our partners and to note your participation in our clinics and talks. We’re also giving you a TBR Dream Official cotton shirt plus a RUN bumper sticker.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING (FOR ONSITE REG)?

1) Registration Fee of P2,500
2) Signed waiver. You may download TBR Waiver_2012 and print a copy.

For pick ups and onsite reg, submit this in person. We will also have printed copies on site, but this just speeds up the process for us.
For deliveries, you may submit the waiver at the earliest Bull Session or Bull Circle.

HOW DO I KNOW MY TBRDM OFFICIAL SHIRT SIZE?

Choose your size based on the size chart above (unisex) to expedite onsite registration or for delivery. Shirt sizes available until supplies last.

WHAT HAPPENS TO UNCLAIMED SLOTS?
We expect slots to free up from those who fail to register during the 5 day registration period, these slots will be automatically forfeited and will be offered to the reserved runners on the waiting list. Wait listed runners will be notified via SMS on the 2nd wave of registration. This will be for 4 days at Runner’s Runner in ROX from October 13 to 16, 2011

If may nasa list na gustong mag backout for any reason, at gusto itransfer ang slot, sa waiting list pa rin kukuha or he has an option kung kanino nya ibibigay? Lets say nagbago isip nya or nagkaconflict sa sked…

- Hi Ariel, the runner names a “substitute runner” that he chooses because he paid already for that slot.

  - Hi Jaymie, I think what Ariel meant is if the person that’s on the reserved list (but hasn’t registered yet) decided to back out and transfer his/her slot, would he/she be allowed to give it to a person of his/her choosing or would it have to be someone from the waiting list?

  - so if a Reserved Runner has registered and paid already, but decides to back-out, then he chooses who his Subsitute Runner is – whether the substitute is on the Wait List or a totally new person who hasn’t even registered to begin with. Is my understanding correct? Thanks.

  - Hi Rob, here it is:
    
    1) RESERVED RUNNERS – No substitutes. If he backs out, he loses his slot and has no authority to refer someone as replacement. Slot will be given by the organizer to the next on wait list after October 10.
    
    2) PAID REGISTRANTS – May appoint a substitute anytime from Oct 10, 2011 to Feb 28, 2012. Paid registrant must submit a formal letter appointing his substitute. Reason for backing out. Return the TBR Dream Card.

i would like to ask, if you already done 1 marathon and 1 ultra, will you consider that as doing two marathons already? Thus, your are no longer allowed to join TBRDM.

- To keep it simple, TBR Dream Team has decided on this. RULE: A runner would be considered to have run a marathon if he/she participated in and finished an official 42km event. This means that if he/she finished an ultramarathon or an Ironman, but has not finished two official 42km events then he/she is eligible to run TBR DM. Others may argue that an ultramarathon goes beyond 42km and an Ironman includes a 42km, but technically, these runners still do not hold official marathon medals or certificates and thereby did not finish a marathon.

- Yes, it’s cotton so not for training. Pang post-run meal haha. The finisher’s shirt will be for training, New Balance branded We’re considering a TBR DM Visor. Hopefully we’re able to work this into the race

  - Yes finisher’s shirt will only be given after the race. You can use it for future training runs when you run your 3rd, 4th, 5th marathon hehe. That’s why the blue cotton shirt we gave you wasn’t called a Training Shirt but an Official TBRDM shirt.

  - Hi Ms. Jaime! I also went there last friday and the only size available was XS. However, it seems that the XS size is still big on me. Ganda pa naman. If we’re going to reorder, is it a must to exchange the XS to a smaller size and return the one we have now or can we buy the smaller size instead? I want to use it sana din the XS for other ocassions though its big and probably order for another smaller size for this event. (Ako na ang gusto maghoard ng TBR shirts heehee O.o)
