EYE RUN: Light from Darkness
International Eye Institute
St. Luke’s Medical Center

This is for the benefit of indigent pediatric patients from the Mt. Province requiring corneal transplantation to restore vision which has been severely impaired by a congenital eye condition.

In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, the St. Luke’s Medical Center International Eye Institute (SLMC-IEI) will have additional beneficiaries of twenty-five (25) charity patients who will undergo major eye surgery (to be subsidized in full) at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City.

SLMC-IEI will also embark on a nationwide awareness campaign for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a preventable cause of blindness among premature babies.
