WHAT CAN YOU WIN? 1 Nathan Hydration Belt from Runnr

HOW MANY WINNERS? 1 winner

HOW CAN I WIN?

  1. Solve this simple problem:  I filled three 8 oz. hydration bottles with water, then drank 1 oz. at Km 5, 1 oz. at Km 10, and another 2 oz. at Km 15.  At Km 20, I shared one bottle with another runner who finished the contents.  How many ounces of Gatorade was I left with when I crossed the finish line?
  2. The FIRST person to post the correct answer below wins the prize.
  3. Comments will be moderated and NOT be published until May 4, 2010, 12:00 noon.
  4. Winners will be published on this blog and will be advised how to claim their prizes.

  71. it was never mentioned that he filled the water bottles with any gatorade… he filled 3 with water.. are we assuming he filled the other bottle with gatorade?? trick question.. 8 oz if he used the other bottle since nathan has 4 water bottles :)

  72. if you are using a 3-flask 8 oz nathan hydration belt, there was no gatorade at all. but if you’re using a 4-flask 8 oz nathan hydration belt, there is a fourth flask which can contain the gatorade, that is, 8 oz of gatorade left when you cross the finish line.

  86. There is no Gatorade. You only filled the 3 bottles with water and so there is no Gatorade to finish or even drink. Unless you had a 4th 8 ounce bottle that you filled with Gatorade, then that bottle would still have been full of Gatorade. :)

    If I have no Gatorade with me then there is nothing left. If I brought 500ml of Gatorade then 500ml is left.
