The 4th TBR Dream Marathon 2013

It’s been three days since 584 finishers crossed the finish line of our 4th TBR Dream Marathon and I’m still on a high.

Every year, I feel blessed to be given the opportunity to witness runners cross that finish line ribbon and see for myself the power, beauty, and magic of a marathon all at once. There’s nothing like it. No words can express the spirit of the marathon, the transformation that occurs within each runner.

Hopefully, these photos will give you a glimpse of what some of our TBR Dreamers experienced that day. There will be more photos and, as is the tradition, marathon stories to be shared almost every week here on this blog from the runners themselves  with the hope of inspiring even more people to go for their marathon dream.

Enjoy and see how these people lived their dream. For more info, visit www.tbrdream.com

  5. omg, my wagas moment posted on the tbrdm website!! am really ecstatic about everything! all the months of training, despite the dengue in january, i was able to catch my dream in 4:39!!! been there, done that and with flying colors!!! something very rare for a 40yo girl with a very busy work schedule and two kidlets to take care of! :)

thank you tbrdm for providing the opportunity to achieve something in a very unique and memorable way. thank you to the very competent photographers, tong pascua and lestsky les, for perfectly freeZing precious moments in that small box called slr. for my running family, OK OK runners, who supported me whole heartedly without expecting anything in return and ofcourse, to the one who caused my speed and good endurance, my running coach – coach jay sales!!!!

All these form a beautiful tapestry in my life called dream marathon!! each small cloth represents events, people, personal goals and everything that made me who i am now in the running world. i am proud of my achievements but am more proud that all of these came from God!! To God be the glory!!

  9. Great experience!!! Totally awesome! I was never a runner mainly because it’s tiresome. But my team, Team Triabetics, sponsored me for this and indeed, I am very grateful that I was able to finish the race.

As I look back, when TBR started, I maximized all Bull Sessions and Bull Clinics to earn my running mileage and learn all that I can about running. I enjoyed every single session including the people I meet! I’m also grateful that the sponsors we have do really have GREAT products, above all, they are generous enough to provide us discounts.

This experience is TOTALLY RECOMMENDABLE especially for first time marathoners!!! Don’t miss this! =) Thank you Jaymie and everyone else in your pack!
