A total of 5,300 runners showed up at Bonifacio Global City yesterday for the annual New Balance Power Run.  Clad in their bright red race shirts, runners ran 5k, 16k, or the unique 25k offered by this race.  Organized by Runrio, a light drizzle kept the runners cool throughout the run and even allowed competitive athletes to achieve their personal best due to excellent race conditions. Mark your calendars for New Balance Power Run 2013!  For TBR-ULAH Dream Marathon 2014 participants, we have a 10% discount on race kits thanks to New Balance and RunRio!  Please see details below:

Venue: Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

Categories/ Price: 10Km (Php750), 16Km (Php 850) and New Balance’s unique 25Km (Php 950)

Registration: All interested participants may register via www.runrio.com or in stores at New Balance ATC, New Balance Glorietta, New Balance Shangri-la, New Balance Trinoma, New Balance Ermita, New Balance Marquee, New Balance Imus, Planet Sports Bonifacio High Street, Planet Sports Greenhills, The Athlete’s Foot Galleria and Riovana Katipunan.

What you get: Registered runners will receive New Balance cash vouchers amounting to Php 1,250 good for New Balance Footwear, Apparel and Accessories and a prepaid card that they will use to register online. In the race kit, participants will receive the exclusive New Balance event shirt along with their race bib with timing chip and other goodies from sponsors. Medals will be given to 25km finishers.

Claiming of race kits: November 8 – 9 at the event area in the parking lot on 30th street in front of Planet Sports Bonifacio High Street. Activities including a running clinic, Zumba classes, footprint analysis, and a whole lot more will be held during the race kit claiming event to make the atmosphere festive.

10% OFF FOR TBR-ULAH DREAM MARATHON 2014 PARTICIPANTS

All registered participants of TBR-ULAH Dream Marathon 2014 are entitled to 10% off the race kit for any category.  Thank you to New Balance and RunRio for this benefit!  Rules and regulations below:

1. 10% discount is available only at PLANET SPORTS BONIFACIO HIGH STREET (revised) starting September 20, 2013.
2. Runner must present DREAM CARD to claim discount.  No Dream Card, No Discount. This will be strictly implemented.
3. Runner’s name will be verified under the Masterlist of TBR-ULAH Dream Marathon 2014.
4. Only participants of Dream Marathon Batch 2014 will be entitled to discount.  Race kit must be under the name of the participant.  Discount is non-transferable.
5. Discount is not convertible to cash.
6. TBR, NB, and Runrio will not be responsible for any failure of communication of discount to the runner.

To all TBR Dreamers 2013: See you for our 2nd Bull Session during New Balance Power Run!

Here are the details for the meet up:

• TBRDM Assembly: 4:50AM 4:40AM at the event area between Safeguard and Shopinas booth. See event layout below.
• 10k Gun Start: 5:20AM 5:10AM
• TBRDM Meet up after the race: 6:50AM 6:40AM at the same area as assembly.
• TBR Dreamers participating in this race should have registered for this race and must be wearing their own NB Power Run race bib.
• We will have four groups at different race intervals.  Each group will be led by two pacers.
• TBR Dreamers ARE NOT obligated to stay with the pace group.  You may run your own race if you wish.
• We will not be stamping your TBRDM Cards for attendance.
• Due to logistical concerns, we will not be releasing TBRDM Official Shirts during this Bull Session 2.  We will announce pick up points for the shirts by next week.

As mentioned, our Bull Session 2 will be on NOV. 11, 2012 on New Balance Power Run 10k.  It has come to our attention that some runners failed to register for the 10k.

GOOD NEWS!  New Balance has been kind enough to try to accommodate all of us in the race.  Please sign in to this sheet if you would like to register for NB Power Run 10k with us.

NOTE:

– Cut off for sign up is today, October 24, 2012, 6:00PM. Sorry, we need to know the exact number by today.  No late sign ups will be entertained.
– Strictly for TBR DM 2013 participants only who will run 10k for the Bull Session.
– Note that NB will TRY to accommodate everyone, but cannot guarantee race kits for everyone on the sheet. We will follow a first come, first served rule.
– TBR will notify you via email regarding registration for the race and post a list of those who have secured a slot on www.tbrdream.com
– TBR will not be responsible for those who did not receive this information, those who failed to make the cut off, or those who did not get to register for the race.
– The 10% discount for TBR Dreamers will still be available.
– Remember: This is purely optional.  We won’t be taking your attendance during this Bull Session.  You are free to run with your friends and cover the distance on your own if you wish.
