TBR DM: Bull Session 1

Over 200 runners, mostly TBR Dream Marathoners 2012, gathered for the first time at Bonifacio Global City last October 22, 2011 for the 1st of a series of Bull Sessions until race day on March 2012.



For the 22-week TBR Dream Marathon training program, the first 2 weeks focuses on walking.  Our head coach Lit Onrubia, Chi Walking and Running Certified Instructor, discussed proper form and technique when it comes to walking.


Hey, don’t laugh.  Proper walking is important to conserve energy especially if you plan to use the run-walk technique in your long runs and marathons—which our program highly recommends.


Coach Edward Kho led the long run-walk of 45 mins around Bonifacio Global City.  Coach Lit checked everyone’s form.





Jun and I acted as sweepers. No one gets left behind in our run clinics! (And no one gets hungry or thirsty too! Thanks to Nutribar and Gatorade!)



This is truly my favorite part of TBR Dream…Meeting our runners face-to-face. Seeing the excitement and hope in their eyes. And, knowing that we’ll see them again…and again…and again in the months to come until they cross that finish line!
