To celebrate International Women’s Month this March, Under Armour invited women for a day of workouts and massage at EDSA Shangri-La’s Chi Spa last March 21.
I got to listen to friends, Jim and Toni Saret, sports and fitness experts and new Under Armour PH ambassadors, talk about fitness and women empowerment, as well as Gretchen Ho who shared amazing practical tips on how to get fit despite a busy schedule.
Bubble Paraiso, also a new Under Armour PH ambassador, led a yoga session outdoors that was just great for stretching my entire body out and clearing the mind.
Too bad I left before I got to experience the massage. I heard some guests experienced a Luxury Hammam Spa from Chi Spa’s guest Turkish masseuse. But, at least, I got to leave with Under Armour items that I’ve always been curious to test.
I’ve never tried any Under Armour apparel or shoes so I was happy to receive not just a complete running outfit, but even underwear, specifically Armour Bra and seamless sports underwear!
They say that the Armour Bra offers all levels of impact and gives superior support and comfort. Design was a cool black/blue. Unfortunately it didn’t fit me so I gave it to a friend for her to test. As for the seamless underwear, all I can say is Finally! I’ve always looked for seamless underwear that won’t be visible under compression tights and now we have them!
Here’s to more sports brands supporting female athletes!
Complete women’s line, such as the studio lux, women seamless sports undies and Armour Bra are now available at the following Under Armour brand houses, UA Bonifacio Global City, BHS, UA Megamall, UA UP Town Center, and is available at selected sports specially stores of Toby’s, Planet Sports, Runnr, Olympic Village all over Metro Manila and key cities in Cebu and Cagayan De Oro.
