New Balance Philippines is excited to announce that Run On Manila + Power Run 2018 is happening on February 11, 2018 (Sunday) at McKinley West, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. I dropped by for the presscon and was happy to spend some time with running and tri friends in media.

Run On is a regional race series, which encourages runners to reach their mark and run on for an extra kilometer. On its second year, Run On Manila brings back the 5k+1k distance apt for beginners and metropolitan athletes.
Power Run is the highly-anticipated annual flagship race of New Balance in the Philippines. Now on its 15th edition, Power Run brings along its three race categories: 8k, 16k, and the signature 25k. Tapping on the intermediate and elite runners, Power Run aims to challenge your personal record.
This year, Run On Manila and Power Run 2018 come together to offer these four race categories in one big event. There will also be fun post-race activities and raffle items to be given away to celebrate each runner’s personal achievement. Reaching out to different types of runners, the Run On Manila + Power Run 2018 is the perfect venue for you to reach your goal – whether it is to check off running on that bucket list or set a new record.
This year also marks a very meaningful race with a cause. The Run On Manila + Power Run 2018 event supports the grassroots triathletes of the Philippine Triathlon Team. With the recent gold medal hauls of our Philippine contingents in international races, New Balance hopes to help our grassroots athletes in honing their talents and improving their performance, thus potentially molding future Olympians. This effort is in partnership with Mr. Tom Carrasco, the Secretary General of the TRAP (Triathlon Association of the Philippines).
