Saucony Philippines launches the latest editions of their most influential models: Saucony Guide 8 and Saucony Kinvara 6.
SAUCONY GUIDE 8
Since its debut in 2008, the multi-award-winning Saucony Guide is a great stability trainer providing balance of support and flexibility. Saucony Guide 8 includes an upgraded Super Rebound Compound™ (SRC) Impact Zone for improved transitions and reconfigured flex grooves for more flexibility. It’s weight is 8.4 oz. Price is P5,695.
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of this shoe. While I use a variety of shoes for training, I have consistently used the Saucony Guide 7 in all my full marathons for the past couple of years. It’s a dependable stability shoe that offers stability and a good amount of cushioning. It’s also a wide shoe that allows my feet (and my nasty bunions) to have an ample amount of space.
I was pretty sad about having to retire my Saucony Guide 7, but just as I was grieving over it, Saucony informed me of the Guide 8’s release. I’ve since used the Guide 8 on two runs and I’m happy to report that it hasn’t changed much from its predecessor. (Model upgrades bring me so much stress!)
– I love Saucony Guide so much, I have three pairs! Saucony Guide 7 at the back and new Guide 8 in front –
SAUCONY KINVARA 6
Showing off its legendary lineage with its new edition is the award-winning Saucony Kinvara, a pioneer in the natural motion running industry. The updates to the Kinvara 6 include enhancements to the upper’s FLEXFILM overlays for better movement on the run and a new mesh for improved breathability. It’s weight is 6.5 oz. Price is P4,995.
