I came home the other day to find a little package from Huawei, its new lifestyle and fitness wearable smart-device for sleep, health, and fitness tracking: the HUAWEI Band.

The HUAWEI band tracks daily activities, automatically recognizes walking and running, and calculates calorie burn.  It is encased in a scratch resistant steel body and topped with a OLED touch-display.  Its design is based on a minimalist and ergonomic Nordic design concept.  The comfortable diamond-patterned strap is available in three colors – black, cream and white. After a run, I always look forward to a long, soothing shower. I want to immediately rid myself of the sticky, sweaty feeling and to relax my usually sore legs and feet.

After Sunday’s long run, I tried using Origins Warm Down Warming Lava Scrub on my calves and feet. After running Tokyo Marathon and Osaka Marathon in two consecutive years, I completely fell head over heels in love with Japan.
