PRESS RELEASE:

Get ready and gear up as we bring back the New Balance Power Run 2012 on November 11 at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Three categories will be offered particularly, the 5Km (Php 650), 10Km (Php 750) and New Balance’s unique 25Km (Php 900) distance. This special 25km category has been offered since the Power Run started nine years ago, it’s the perfect distance to give half-marathon runners that extra push as they end their year in training.

Planet Sports Inc. the official distributor of New Balance here in the Philippines has been regularly offering various running events to the community since 2002. Some of these projects include this year’s New Balance 10K Run Series which is a 5 and 10Km race held in Bacolod and Cebu along with Cagayan de Oro happening soon. The 10k Run Series is New Balance’s way of offering the same kind of experience Manila runners get with the Power Run but in their own city. With the success of the run series, New Balance will cap it off with the biggest and final leg, the New Balance Power Run 2012.

All registered runners will receive an exclusive event shirt along with their race bib with b-tag and New Balance cash vouchers amounting to Php 1,250.00 for footwear, apparel and accessories; along with this all 25KM finishers will get their very own medal. TBR DREAM MARATHON 2013 DISCOUNT

To all TBR Dream Marathon 2013, our BULL SESSION 2 will be DURING the NB Power Run.  We will meet at a designated area before the race and run 80mins together (as suggested in our TBRDM Program) during the 10k race of NB Power Run.

TBR DM 2013 runners will be asked to cover their own race fees.  But, New Balance will be giving all TBR DM 2013 participants a 10% discount on 5k, 10k, or 25k distance.

You will NOT be required to join the Bull Session 2, but we highly encourage you to do so.

How to register and claim the 10% discount on NB Power Run:

TBR Dream Marathon 2013 participants can register and claim the 10% discount on NB Power Run at Riovana BGC and NB Robinson’s Ermita only.  Please present your TBR DM Card and a valid ID.  Discount is non-transferable.

Only for October 9-14, 2012, TBR DM 2013 participants can also register at NB Glorietta, ATC and Marquee Mall where the 10% discount will also be given.

As early as now, Unilab Active Health is releasing its race calendar for 2013.  This includes the Run United series of RunRio Trilogy, Run United Philippine Marathon, TriUnited Series, and, of course, TBR Dream Marathon where Unilab Active Health is our Presenter.

The Bull Runner Dream Team Run: Half the Distance, Thrice the Fun!

DATE: Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012

DISTANCE: 21k

NO. OF PARTICIPANTS: 600 teams of three (or 1,800 runners)

TBR Dream Team Run is the first grand reunion run for TBR Dream Marathon Alumni.

For TBR Dream Alumni, this is your chance to relive your TBR Dream experience at NUVALI and to reconnect with your batch mates. But, this time, you get to run with two other friends in a 21k race. It’s half the distance, but three times the fun!

After the race, kick back and relax at Bullstock, a simple and casual get-together at the Fields in NUVALI with lots of running talk and laughter hosted by a team of three too, the Boys Night Out!

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1) TEAM OF 3. Runners must register as a team of three. At least one of the three runners must be a TBR Dream Marathon Alumni* or TBR Dream Marathon 2013 Registered Participant.  (* A TBR Dream Marathon Alumni is a confirmed registrant of the TBR Dream Marathon 2010, 2011, or 2012 regardless of him/her appearing or finishing the race.)

2) TEAM UNIFORMS. All runners are encouraged to come in team uniforms or costumes. Be creative! There’s a prize for Best in Costume!

3) FINISHERS’ SHIRTS & MEDALS. Finishers will be awarded Finishers’ Shirts and Finishers’ Medals upon crossing the finish line.

FAQ:

1. Does the entire team need to show up for registration?

No. One team member, not necessarily the Alumni or Participant, can register for everyone.

2. I don’t know any TBR Dream Alumni or Participant? Can I still join?

Sorry but we require one teammate to be a TBR Dream Alumni or Participant.

3. Can I run ahead of my teammates?

No. The entire team must run as one. Teams that do not run or cross the finish line together will be disqualified.

4. What do I need to bring on race day?

Um, aside from your 2 teammates, your waivers.  In your race kit, we have included two waivers per person. Each runner must submit both either during registration or on race day.

ADOBO RUN AFTER DARK 3: THE PARTY WITH A RUN
