The 6th TBR ULAH Dream Marathon held last February 22, 2015 has ended, but the experiences of each of our 615 first- and second-time marathoners will live on in their hearts and memories. This is part of a series of marathon stories from Batch 2015 in an effort to preserve their stories in words and share them with you to, hopefully, inspire you to dream big as they did.

Nike-Women's-Event-Series-(1)

We’re thrilled to finally have the inaugural Nike Women’s 10k Manila on 9 May 2015 at Filinvest City, Alabang!  Considering how more women are lacing up nowadays (it’s pretty obvious that there’s about a 50:50 split now among men and women running in Manila), it’s a good call for Nike to further grow that market.  Yahooo for us ladies! Boston Marathon, Here I Come!

Last month, I received the biggest news of my running career: Gatorade had locked in a slot for me to run the prestigious Boston Marathon!

If you know me, you know that since I first run the New York City Marathon in 2010, my greatest dream has been to run the World Marathon Majors. In the succeeding years after New York, I ticked off those marathons from my list: I was fortunate enough to run New York City Marathon again in 2011 thanks to Gatorade, Berlin Marathon in 2012 courtesy of Unilab Active Health, London Marathon in 2013 because of Timex and Unilab Active Health, Tokyo Marathon and Chicago Marathon in 2014 with the full support of Unilab Active Health. Must Watch Video: TBR ULAH Dream Marathon 2015

Friday, 13 March 2015  |  Favorite Posts, Race Reports

I’m proud to present the official video of TBR ULAH Dream Marathon 2015. It pretty much encapsulates the essence of TBR Dream when we first conceptualised it with Jim Lafferty 5 years ago. It was about first-time runners conquering their elusive 42k dream, volunteers coming together as one to support others, and ordinary people doing extraordinary things through running and transforming their lives.

We worked through three drafts of this video before the final product. And, each time, I got teary-eyed seeing our runners cross the finish line. Prepare some tissue before you press play.

Thank you to Digitank for the awesome video!
