Despite the intense summer heat and the crippling humidity, over 12,000 runners participated in Unilab Active Health’s Run United 2 yesterday at SM Mall of Asia featuring 5K, 10K, 21K, 32K and a special category for Persons with Intellectual & Developmental Disability (PWID). It was the 21k and 32 categories with the biggest pool of runners with 5,000 and 4,149 runners, respectively. (more…)

There was no doubt about it. As I stood in the coral of Buffalo Marathon last May 24, 2015, I was certain that I chose the best race I could after a string of World Marathon Majors the past years. While finishing the six World Marathon Majors was a dream come true and exposed me to the world’s biggest and best races, I still believe that small, intimate marathons have their own beauty. I was ecstatic to be standing among the almost 8,000 runners in this race. (more…)

What does one do after completing the six World Marathon Majors? One runs more marathons!

In 9 days, this Bull will be running Buffalo Marathon in New York. Truth be told, I’m as excited as I was when I was about to run Boston Marathon. Sure, this marathon is relatively smaller and less popular than the majors, but—in a weird way—that’s exactly what attracted me to this race. (more…)
